Questions We Get a Lot
Aluminum pergolas with adjustable louvers are designed for year-round use, offering integrated drainage and the ability to open or close the roof depending on sun or rain. Wood pergolas bring a classic, natural aesthetic and are well suited for homeowners who prefer a warm, organic look and feel in their outdoor space. Your choice often comes down to how much weather flexibility you want versus the warmth and character of natural wood.
Our pergolas are shipped as complete kits with all the hardware and structural components needed for assembly — the build is handled by you on your end, in your own backyard on your own timeline. Most designs are engineered to be assembled with standard tools and follow clear, step-by-step instructions included with the kit. If you have questions during the process, our team is available to help guide you through it.
Our structures are engineered with durability in mind — select models carry wind ratings that make them suitable for exposed backyard environments, and waterproof coatings are applied to wooden options to help resist moisture over time. Aluminum frame models are inherently rust-resistant and hold up well against rain, humidity, and UV exposure season after season. Always review the individual product specifications to match the structure to your local climate conditions.

About Our Pergolas
A pergola is one of the most impactful additions you can make to an outdoor space — it defines a room without enclosing it, providing shade, structure, and a sense of place that turns a plain backyard into something you actually want to spend time in. Whether built from cedar or engineered aluminum, a well-constructed pergola is designed to hold its shape and finish through years of sun, rain, and shifting temperatures. They suit a wide range of outdoor settings: garden paths, patio dining areas, poolside lounges, or open lawn spaces that need a focal point. When choosing a pergola, consider the frame material and how it performs in your climate, the footprint and how it fits your available space, and whether you want a fixed open-roof design or adjustable coverage that adapts to the weather. The right pergola becomes the backbone of your outdoor living space — built once, enjoyed for years.
